What began as sister road trips exploring vintage markets and boutiques across the country blossomed into Market in the Mountains—a dream realized by two sisters with a shared passion for unique treasures. In August 2019, we hosted our first one-day vintage market called "Market in the Mountains."

 The overwhelming response ignited our vision to create something permanent in the mountain town we love. Despite opening our doors in May 2021 amid the challenges of COVID-19, what seemed like an obstacle became our greatest blessing. Unable to source from traditional markets, we connected with small, independent businesses across the USA, forming partnerships that remain at the heart of our shop today.

These four words capture our approach to curating our collection. Each item in our tiny, historic bank building has been thoughtfully selected to bring joy and beauty into your home or to become the perfect gift for someone special.
